Not all medical appointments need to be done at the medical clinic. A home visit, or domiciliary visit, can be arranged where a doctor and nurse will visit a patient at their place of residence. There are many reasons as to why one may not be able to attend a doctor's appointment in person, from being bedridden, to not having transport or being hampered by distance. At Signal Hill Clinic, we have been meeting that demand since our inception in 2018. We are one of a few clinics in Kota Kinabalu that provide this service. Patients and family members find a certain level of convenience of having a doctor and nurse visit them at home. We attend to various needs of the patient, from complex wound dressing, regular urinary catheter or feeding tube change, blood taking, nutritional assessment or even to just review them at the comfort of their own home. We are even able to review your loved one at a nursing home or home care facility. We work closely with physiotherapists as well as podiatrists. Our multidisciplinary approach allows for a more comprehensive and holistic treatment. We are able to come to you and provide medical care at the convenience of your own home.
